A Mora man died as a result of a Saturday evening crash in Pine County, in which the Minnesota State Patrol believes alcohol to have been a factor.
According to the state patrol incident report, a Ford F150 was traveling eastbound on Highway 48, near Wilderness Road in Ogema Township, just after 4:30 p.m.
A Buick Lacrosse traveling westbound crossed the center line and collided with the vehicle.Â
The driver of the Buick, identified as 40-year-old Mora resident Joseph Peacock, was killed in the crash.Â
According to the state patrol, Peacock was not wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
The driver of the F150, a 62-year-old Chisago City woman, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
