Two are dead after the motorcycle they were riding on was struck by a pickup truck Sunday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 66-year-old Jerry Mcdowell and 61-year-old Sharon Mcdowell of Pine City were traveling eastbound on Highway 48 on their Harley Davidson motorcycle when they slowed and attempted to turn north onto Fleming Logging Road. The report went onto say that a Chevy 1500 pick up driven by a 17-year-old struck the motorcycle, killing both riders.
The name of the teenager has yet to be released by the State Patrol.
