The northbound I-35 ramps to and from Highway 48 in Hinckley are expected to reopen on Saturday, Aug. 10.
According to a press release, MnDOT will be shifting traffic as Hinckley project work continues.
Beginning on Aug. 16, the northbound lanes of I-35 are expected to reopen with single-lane traffic in each direction for about a week.
According to MnDOT, traffic will then be in a head-to-head pattern, shifting between the northbound and southbound roadways within the project limits.
Work will also begin on the southbound Grindstone River bridge.
MnDOT cautions that motorists should always be prepared to encounter traffic changes when approaching work zones, including lane closures, lane shifts, uneven road surfaces, slow-moving heavy equipment and slow or stopped traffic.
