The two suspects in the Chisago County stabbing case that left one man dead last May have been sentenced.
According to the criminal complaint, Justin Valian reportedly stabbed the 28-year-old victim in the chest with a knife following an argument between the second suspect Courtney Pilz-Carr and the victim.
Pilz Carr pled guilty to aiding an offender late last year and was sentenced to 58 months in prison in February.
Valian pled guilty to 2nd-degree unintentional murder in March of this year and was sentenced to 225 months in prison with credit for time served on April 16.
