The Snake River Bridge in Pine County closed on Monday, Nov. 13 for a replacement project.
The project was awarded to Redstone Construction, out of Mora.
According to county engineer Mark LeBrun, traffic from the north will be detoured up to Holly Road and Eveready Road to County State Aid Highway 61.
LeBrun said winter work will be done on the bridge due to DNR work-in-water restrictions on the Snake River.
The bridge is anticipated to be completed and open for traffic in late summer of 2024.
Resurfacing of Cross Lake Road from 8th Avenue Southeast to the Snake River Bridge is slated for next summer.
