Siren School Board race narrows field in Tuesday's primary

The Siren School District held a primary election on Tuesday to reduce the field to four candidates ahead of an election on April 1.


According to the results, incumbent Eric Olson received the most votes with 126. Polly Imme finished second with 107, and Cory Bauer received 82 votes.


Kimberly Thiex was the fourth-leading vote-getter with 68. Molly Brown received 64 votes.


April’s election will fill two seats, each with a three-year term. Peggy Moore, whose term is also expiring, did not seek re-election.


Those positions will begin on April 28.
