Three were sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after two cars collided head-on in Northern Pine County.
The state patrol says both vehicles were traveling on Highway 23 near the Kettle river when a westbound Toyota Corolla crossed over the centerline and struck a Honda CRV.
Both drivers and a passenger were flown to St. Mary’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Pine County Sheriff, MN Dnr, Askov Fire Department, Essentia Ambulance, LifeLink, and Sandstone Fire Department all responded to the crash.
