The following is from the Pine County Sheriff's Office:
"On March 2, 2020, at 10:09 a.m. the Pine County Sheriff’s Office received a
call about a possible deceased person at a property on Royal Heights Lane in
Royalton Township. Deputies responded to the scene and found a man who
was obviously deceased inside of a motorhome. The Bureau of Criminal
Apprehension (BCA) was called in to assist in the investigation.
The man was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for
autopsy.
The deceased male has been identified as Scott A. Ness age 61, no permanent
address. Investigators are working on a timeline surrounding his death and
following up on any leads.
