The Pine City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a local candidate forum on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pine City High School auditorium.
According to the Chamber, audience members will be invited to submit questions to be moderated through a panel of volunteers. Each candidate will be given the same amount of time to respond to each question.
School board incumbents Becci Berglund-Palmblade, Tim Geisler, and Shaun Macho, and candidates Billy Head and Wayne Gilman, are designated for the 6:10 to 6:55 time slot.
Residents will elect four of the candidates to seats in November.
From 7:05 to 7:50, mayor Kent Bombard and challengers Sheldon Gallmeier, Corbin Peters, and Nathan Rynders are scheduled to speak.
The 8 to 8:45 time slot will feature city council incumbent Kyle Palmer and candidates Dan Swanson, Mollie Davis, and Terry Neitzel.
Two of those four will be elected to council vacancies.
The forum will also be livestreamed by WCMP.
