The Pine Center For the Arts will display the works of a Rush City watercolor artist during a gallery through the month of March.
The exhibition, titled “Big Blooms,” will feature art from Sandra Cowing, who has served as a board member of the Minnesota Watercolor Society for the past three years.
Cowing is a self-taught painter, and has been painting for the past seven years after retiring as an elementary educator.
“Big Blooms” will open on Friday, March 7, with an artist’s reception from 4 to 7 p.m. It will remain on display throughout the month.
The gallery is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
The exhibition is made possible through an operating grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council.
