The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is saying no one was injured after a car went through the ice Tuesday night.
The vehicle attempted to cross the channel connecting Little Green Lake and Green Lake when it broke through and became partially submerged.
Deputies, along with the Chisago City Fire Department, responded to the scene, and the car was able to be removed from the lake via a tow truck.
In a post to social media, the Chisago County Sheriff's Office reminded drivers that no ice is 100% safe writing, "Please do not drive through the channels connecting our lakes. On a side note, while on scene a fisherman drilled some holes and found 18+ inches of ice less than 50 feet away from this incident."
