The Minnesota State High School League has released guidelines for spring activities including the start dates and post season tournaments.
Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Golf, and Boys Tennis practices will begin on March 29th. Arm conditioning for baseball can start on March 2nd.
Golf, baseball, softball, and track and field can begin competitions on April 8th. Boys tennis can hold their first competition on April 1st. Baseball and softball will be a 12 week season with a cap of 20 competitions. Golf will be a 12 week season with a max of 16 competitions. Tennis is 11 week season with 16 competitions and track and field will be for 13 weeks with 14 competitions.
Postseason will start on May 29th for softball and May 29th for baseball. The tennis postseason will start on the 24th.
Right now specific guidance regarding masks and spectators from the Minnesota Department of Health has not yet been received for spring sports. This information will be shared when available.
