The Pine City Girls Tennis Head Coach Kristin Unverzagt gave us a look at the teams win to get them back to the section championship!
The Pine City Dragons had a tight battle with Crosby-Ironton to earn tonight's 4-3 win!
We earned our victory with Alana Linnell dominating at 2nd singles and sweeping at all 3 doubles positions. It came down to a third set and a win from our second doubles team.
All positions came ready to play. Our singles scores do not reflect that close games and long points that we had at each position. First and third doubles had decisive wins, and our second doubles got themselves into the match and had a strong finish in the third set. We are so proud of this team as they continue to improve each day and work hard to focus on our team goals. We are excited to play Foley in the section finals at 11AM on Thursday at the Sta-Fit Club in Sartell.
