Highway 123 Construction in Sandstone Begins Next Week

Construction on Highway 123 in Sandstone will begin on August 16.

This two-year project will consist of resurfacing the Highway 123 and Highway 23 intersection, extending sidewalks, and making ADA improvements.

Work will begin with rebuilding the intersection of Highways 123 and 23, resurfacing highway 123 from Highway 23 to 1st St, and milling and reclamation east of Park Ave on Highway 123.

Motorists should expect lane closures and delays in work zones.

The project will continue through the fall and continue in the spring of 2022.
