A fire on Friday morning in Taylors Falls has left the Springs Inn Motel uninhabitable.
According to a news release from the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, a fire was reported at the motel, located at 361 Government St., around 7:15 a.m.
The Taylors Falls Fire Department and Chisago County deputies responded within three minutes, and arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the three-story building.
All occupants of the building are accounted for, and no injuries were reported.
The state fire marshal, Chisago County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division, and Taylors Falls Fire Department are conducting a joint investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.
The release states that occupants reported an electrical issue near where the fire originated.
Investigators currently do not believe recent fires in Shafer or Dresser, Wisconsin, "have a nexus to one another."
