'Flora, Fauna, and Fables' exhibit scheduled at Pine Center For the Arts in January

The Pine Center For the Arts has announced its upcoming gallery for the month of January.

The exhibition will feature the works of Wyoming sculpture artist Layl McDill, and is titled "Flora, Fauna, and Fables."

McDill's medium of choice is polymer clay, where she uses the millefiori technique to create her sculptures. She often incorporates mixed media, and her work explores themes of nature, animals, and humanity’s interaction with the environment.

The gallery will open with an artists’ reception on Friday, January 3rd, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The exhibition will remain open through January, and is free and open to the public. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The event is made possible through an operating grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council.
