Arrowhead Transit is launching an initiative seeking to improve public transportation in Isanti and Chisago counties in 2025.
According to a news release, the RideSmart 2025 project will seek to redesign routes to meet community needs and increase accessibility for underserved areas.
The initiative also focuses on technological upgrades, including integrating apps and improving payment systems.
Arrowhead Transit will hold a transit advisory committee meeting at the Isanti County Health and Human Services building in Cambridge at 10 a.m. on Jan. 30.
A community survey will be available through March for public feedback, and Arrowhead will have a survey for on-board passengers through February.
