#1 seed North Branch played #2 seed Hermantown last night in the section semifinal game. The match was played at Cloquet Middle School.
North Branch beat the Hawks 3-0 and will advance to the section championship. The first set was 25-18, second set 25-15, and the third set 25-18. The reigning Class AA State Champion Vikings will face Proctor and battle to put their school in the back in the state tournament bracket for the third straight season.
The Vikings section championship game will be on Saturday at the Cloquet Middle School. That game is set for a 6pm start. You can listen to that game on 100.9 FM or online at wcmpradio.com.
