The number one seed Rush City Tigers fell 3-0 to #2 seed Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 3-0 last night in Aitkin.
With the win, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley advanced to the section semifinals. Rush City came into this game winning 8 of their last 10 games, but ran into a tough Wolves team. Rush City fell to the Wolves 3-0 ending their season. The first set was 25-20, second set 25-15, and the third 25-20.
The Tigers finish the season with a 15-9 record. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will play Pine River-Backus in the section semifinal game.
