They’re on the front lines, they fight for each other, it’s a brotherhood. It may be fall and you might be thinking I’m describing football teams. In this instance I’m talking about the ones who sacrifice everything, those who serve in the U.S. military. They give up everything so we have the freedom to do things such as, play high school football under the lights. They deserve all the appreciation they can get, and Rush City High School will be giving them just that.
Friday night, September 13th is Military Appreciation Night in Rush City. The Rush City Tigers take on the Braham Bombers at 7pm. All current and former military members will get free admission into the game on Friday. All military members in attendance should report to their teams benches by 6:30pm for the Color Guard presentation. Come early for the tailgate party! RCYSC will be hosting the tailgate party Friday night starting at 5:00pm.
If you or someone you know is an active or former military member, bring them out for military appreciation night in Rush City. You’ll enjoy a fun night of tailgating, and football, and also get the recognition you deserve for serving this great country.
