A Traffic Stop in Grantsburg Leads Deputies to Seize Thousands in Cash and Drugs


A traffic stop in Grantsburg has lead to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office to recover thousands of dollars in cash and drugs.

Noah Rauchbauer was pulled over on Monday, February, 11 for equipment violations. K-9 Tracker was deployed to perform an exterior sniff of the vehicle and he gave a positive alert.

Deputies retrieved in 2.94 grams of marijuana from the vehicle, and $3,100 cash, a THC vaping device and 3 THC vaping cartridges was located on Rauchbauer's person.

The sheriff's office executed a two-part search warrant of the suspect's residence which resulted in the seizure of seizure a digital scale, packaging material, psilocybin mushrooms, multiple THC smoking devices, THC vaping cartridges, an additional $1000 cash and 80.46 grams of marijuana.

Rauchbauer has been charged with possession w/Intent to Manufacture/Distribute/Deliver THC, Possession psilocybin mushrooms, Possession THC paraphernalia, and Possession of THC 2nd Offense.
