The Great River Conference Cross Country Championship Race was held yesterday at Pine City Country Club. The Pine City boys team took home the conference championship for the sixth straight year. And for the first time in the better part of a decade, someone other than Pine City won the conference crown. The Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars celebrated a conference win as they squeaked out a victory over Pine City.

Next up for these teams is the section meets on Thursday October 25th. Rush City, Hinckley-Finlayson, Braham, and Pine City will all compete in Section 5A in Mora while East Central competes in Section 7A in Cloquet.
