Thursday afternoon at the Pine City Country Club saw several area cross country teams participating in the Pine City Invitational.
Spectrum finished in first place for the boys with Foley coming in second. Cedric Lafave from Hinckley-Finlayson was the fastest overall runner. East Central's Craig Feist placed second but beat his own school record by twenty seconds.
The girls race was dominated by the team from Zimmerman. The top four runners were all represented by the top overall team. Mora place second and Milaca third.
