Section 5A
The Mora Mustangs men's track team is Section 5A champions once again after a dominating performance yesterday at St. John's University. The Mustangs will be sending several athletes to the state tournament including Cal Wright who qualified in three events and broke a section record.
Pine City saw its school record go down for the men's 4x800m relay race yesterday. The record breaking performance fell short of qualifying for the state tournament, however as the section meet was full of tough competition.
The Dragons will be sending Alaina Steele to the state tournament in the 800m.
