Last night, Clay Logan reached a milestone that only seven other Dragon Basketball players had reached before him. That milestone is 1,000 career points. Shortly into the first half Clay Logan hit a free throw that he will remember for the rest of his life. The Dragon senior is in his third season starting for Pine City and has had a very successful career. Congratulations to Clay Logan! This is a very impressive feat. Pine City would continue to celebrate that night knocking down Rush City 78-36. The Dragons are now 9-4 on the season and will have two road games next week against Ogilvie and Onamia.

The Pine City Area Dragons have a tough task tonight. They are on the road taking on St. Paul Highland Park. The Dragons and Saints sit at the top of the Two Rivers Conference and to be blunt, third place isn't even close. The Scots sit at 9-3 this season and are riding a six-game winning streak. Much of that success can be credited to Jack Branby. The goalie for Highland Park is averaging 32 saves per game and has held opponents to just 1.94 points per game. The last time these teams faced off, Pine City picked up the victory 3-1. If the Dragons want to lock up their third-straight conference title they need to take care of business on the road against the Scots. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 and can be heard on 106.5 FM/AM 1350 and wcmpradio.com

Tonight is the game many have circled on their calendar. It's Pine City vs Rush City. The Dragons and Tigers are both undefeated in conference play coming into tonight's game. Rush City is undefeated on the season and the Tigers know that Pine City is one of the few teams on their schedule that could keep them from finishing undefeated. Last year, Rush City defeated Pine City handily in both of the matchups and the Dragons are looking for revenge. Tip-off is at 7:15 and the game can be heard on 100.9 FM and wcmpradio.com
